Responsibilities
- Conducting design, coding and unit testing activities
- Conduct system test activities
- Support the customer’s acceptance testing
- Complying with quality assurance processes.
Education and Skillset
- Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or equivalent
- The ability to assimilate knowledge of complex systems
- Analytical problem-solving skills required for developing design solutions or identifying obscure problems
- An understanding of the relevant technology areas: Unix, C/C++, Perl, Java, SQL, Relational Database (Oracle)
- Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle and software design techniques
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Exposure to commercial software development
- Exposure to telecommunications/billing/customer care
- Exposure to UNIX server transactional products.
